Most of the newspapers here are in english which is extremely convenient! I saw this article yesterday and I thought those with International Development minds might enjoy it (and anyone else). Due to the difficulties in being a successful farmer in India (high cost, low output), often farmers cannot provide for themselves and their families. The stress of such a livelihood leads many many farmers in southern India to commit suicide (similar to the situation in Tunisia which evoked Arab Spring).
